Baotong Lu is a researcher in Microsoft Research Asia. He received his PhD degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023 and visited Simon Fraser University in 2019 and 2023 respectively. His research interest lies in database management system (e.g., vector databases) and machine learning systems (e.g., LLM inference, RAGs). His is a recipient of 2021 ACM SIGMOD Research Highlight Award.
